International University Ball - tickets go on sale on 19 November 2024

On Saturday, 25 January 2025, Hannover's ball season will be opened in the atrium of Leibniz Universität. At last, it's ‘The world dances in Hannover’ again and for the 13th time, dance-loving students and employees of Hannover's universities can bring the winter semester to a festive close.

Advance ticket sales for the popular event will take place on Tuesday, 19.11.2024 from 12 noon in the entrance foyer of the University Sports Department.

Information about the event

The International University Ball is traditionally the final ball of the University Sports dance courses. In addition, the ball offers international students the opportunity to celebrate the end of their semester abroad in a glamorous atmosphere.

Visitors can expect a varied programme with great show interludes by dance groups from university sports.

• When? Saturday, 25 January 2025, from 19:00 (admission from 18:30)
• Where? Leibniz University Hannover, Welfenschloss, Am Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover

Programme:

• 19:00 Welcome
• 19:15 Dancing opening, followed by invitation to the first dance
• 22:00 Show block
• 02:00 am End of the event

Evening dress is requested.

Ticket prices:

• Students* (on presentation of student ID):35,- €
• Employees: 70,- €

The ticket price includes a buffet with snacks and finger food. Drinks are EXCLUSIVE. It is possible to purchase drinks on site. You are not allowed to bring your own drinks to the event.

* Tickets at student prices are available to anyone enrolled at one of our partner universities. A Student ID must be shown at the entrance to the ball on 25 January 2025 upon presentation of a confirmation valid at the time of the event. If no proof is presented, the higher ticket price must be paid on site. Additional payments for tickets are only possible by card payment.

The International University Ball is very popular. In previous years, tickets have sold out within a few hours of going on sale!

For the first time, tickets can no longer be paid for in cash, but only by debit or credit card. A maximum of 10 tickets per person may be purchased.

Advance ticket sales will take place:

• When? 19.11.2024 from 12 noon
• Where? Centre for University Sports, Am Moritzwinkel 6, 30167 Hanover

Payment method: Card payment only (EC or credit card) - NO CASH PAYMENT POSSIBLE!

Accessibility:

Wheelchair users receive specially designated seats in the atrium. It should therefore be mentioned when purchasing tickets if wheelchair users are among the visitors.
